根据江苏省援外医疗队组派工作计划，泰州市独立承担了中国（江苏）第32期援桑给巴尔医疗队组派任务，20位队员来自泰州市的5家医院和1家学校。2022年9月至2023年9月一年间，他们完成了近7万例次病人的诊治，完成手术6508例次。开展新技术、新疗法89项。他们还为当地医院、学校、孤儿进行了15次捐赠，谱写了一曲跨越山海的友谊之歌。

According to the work plan for the Jiangsu Province medical team sent abroad, Taizhou City independently undertook the task of dispatching the 32nd Chinese (Jiangsu) medical team to Zanzibar. The team comprised 20 members from five hospitals and one school in Taizhou City. From September 2022 to September 2023, over the course of one year, they treated nearly 70,000 patients and conducted 6,508 surgeries. Additionally, they introduced 89 new technologies and therapies. They also made 15 donations to local hospitals, schools, and orphanages, composing a song of friendship that transcends mountains and seas.

Across mountains and seas, their steps never falter. The "Angels in White" from Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, have not only brought health and care to the people of the recipient countries but also demonstrated the mission and responsibility of Chinese medical teams. Guided by the spirit of Chinese medical teams, which is characterized by "fearlessness of hardships, willingness to dedicate, saving lives, and boundless compassion," members of the Taizhou medical team continue to practice the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind through actions, allowing the song "Jasmine Flower" to resonate across the lands of the recipient countries.
