2022年10月3日吃过晚饭后，当地的一对夫妻按响了我们小院的门铃，队长戏称“谁的急诊？”。开门后，他们自我介绍是附近学校的校长Mr.RASHID 和妻子Rahma老师以及他们的孩子。蒋队长想起第31期医疗队殷骏队长特地提到Mr.RASHID，说他们一家是医疗队的老朋友，最信任的也是中国医疗队的医生。
      Mr.RASHID介绍他们的第4个孩子就是在中国医疗队的帮助下顺利出生的，现在得知新的队伍抵达，特意登门表示欢迎。他们还特别带了9个椰子作为礼物，对于我们来说，在异国他乡有了朋友，还收到朋友的关爱，感到无比开心。
      刚好Rabam老师开始第五次怀孕，在我们接下来的一年里，妇产科史晓莹主任定期帮助她进行孕期体检，孕期咨询。后来Rabam老师在中国春节前后产下一男婴，不幸的是存在先天性疾病，在中国医疗队的帮助下，转诊到桑岛的纳兹姆加医院。尽管最终没有能留住这个孩子，但他们对我们医疗队的帮助仍是十分感谢。
      后来Mr.Rashid 的哥哥意外骨折，也是骨科杨国进主任亲自实施了手术，术后恢复得非常好。
      我是儿科医生，也是女性，不意间和Rahma老师成为无话不谈的好朋友，每次她经过医院，都会特意找到我打个招呼。尽管我英语水平一般，但我们还是能杂七杂八地聊半天。特别是美食，是我们的同好。她有时在Youtobe上看到美味食物的视频，会特意学着做，然后带来给我尝尝。我印象最深的是她自制的混合果汁，是用当地产的释迦果、百香果、芒果等混合做成，非常好喝。
      Mr.Rashid一家得知医疗队的家人要来奔巴岛探亲，恳切地邀请我们携带家人到他家做客。Rahma老师给我们准备了丰盛的食物，有新鲜的水果和可口的果汁，美味的蛋糕，鲜美的炸墨鱼等。Rahma老师特意给我们介绍了她爱种花的妈妈，参观了她家的院子，看了妈妈的花园，最后又从院子里摘了些椰子送给我们作为礼物。
      一年的援外期将结束，Mr.Rashid一家和医疗队告别，我和Rahma老师依依惜别，非常不舍。我们第1期援桑医疗队因为贡献突出在非洲得到了周恩来总理的接见。Abudalla Mzee医院当年也是周恩来总理亲自选的址援建的。我们援外医疗队不光是通过先进的医术帮助非洲人民，还要和他们成为朋友，传播友谊。

Teacher Rahma and I became best friends

I still remember that after dinner on October 3, 2022, 9 members of our 32 Zanzibar medical team in China  just arrived in Pemba Island, a local African couple rang the doorbell of our small hospital, and the captain joked "Whose emergency?" After opening the door, they introduced themselves and we just knew that they are Mr. Rashid, the principal of a nearby school, his wife, Teacher Rahma and their children. Captain Jiang remembered that Yin Jun the captain of 31st China Medical Team, specially mentioned Mr. Rashid , saying that his family was an old friend of the medical team and the most trusted doctor of the Chinese medical team. Mr. Rashid introduced that their fourth child was born successfully with the help of our Chinese team members. Now that the new team has arrived, he specially welcomes them. Especially with 9 coconuts as gifts, things may not be too expensive, but for us, we are extremely happy to have friends in a foreign country and receive the care of friends.
Teacher Rahma just began her fifth pregnancy. In the next year of our work, Director Shi Xiaoying of Obstetrics and Gynecology helped her with regular pregnancy physical examinations, pregnancy counseling, etc. free of charge. Later, Mr. Rahma gave birth to a baby boy around the Spring Festival in China. Unfortunately, there were congenital diseases. With the help of our Chinese medical team, he was actively referred to Mnazi Mmoja Hospital in San Island. Although they were not able to keep the child in the end, they thanked our medical team for their help throughout the process.
Later, Mr. Rashid's brother suffered an accidental fracture, which was also operated by Director Yang Guojin in orthopedics, and recovered very well after the operation.
I am a pediatrician and a woman. Unexpectedly, I became a good friend with teacher Rahma. Every time she passed by the hospital, she deliberately came to me to say hello. Although my English is average, I can still talk for a long time. Especially delicious food is our favorite. She sometimes sees videos of delicious food on Youtobe, learns to make it, and then brings it to me to taste. What I will never forget is her homemade mixed juice, which is made from local Sakya fruit, passion fruit, mango and other mixture. It is very delicious.
When Mr Rashid's family learned that the family of the medical team was coming to visit their relatives, they repeatedly invited the medical team to bring their families to his home. When we arrived at Mr. Rashid's house, Mr. Rahma made delicious food for us, including fresh fruits and delicious juices, delicious cakes, delicious fried cuttlefish, etc. Teacher Rahma specially introduced us to her flower-loving mother, visited her yard, looked at her mother's garden, and finally picked some coconuts from the yard for us as a gift.
After a year of foreign aid, Mr. Rashid's family said goodbye to the medical team. Teacher Rahma and I are very reluctant to say goodbye.Our first phase of medical aid team was received by Premier Zhou Enlai in Africa for its outstanding contributions. Abudalla Mzee Hospital was also built by Premier Zhou Enlai himself.Our foreign medical team not only helps African people through advanced medical skills, but also wants to become friends with them, spread Chinese friendship to them.
